Is Yakuza worth trying if I'm not necessarily a fan of japanese humor/games in general?

It has a lot of cutscenes and dialogue, so I would say no.

1 & 2 vanilla sure, they're pretty good games and light on the humor aspect. Just plain, simple brawlers with their own self contained plots and interesting stories.
Going beyond 2 is just not worth it.

Are they better if you know Japanese? I'm in the process of learning the language

They are good brawler games and the fun of it is how emotionally disconnected the main plot is with the weird shit happening around the protagonist. Expect a lot of japanese humor but also a lot of heartfelt moments.

Maybe not. The combat is fun, but the story ranges from serious Japanese soap opera to quirky Japanese chungus at the drop of a hat.
I dislike anime tropes and anime in general quite heavily, but I love this series, for what that’s worth.

It's not that we want to be white but we want our children to look pretty. Me personally am fine with being Asian but I also like my sharp facial features, which I assume are only from my Spanish ancestors. That being said I'm willing to date other flips, latinas, and white girls because they all have those potential genes. But east asian DNA? Grim. I think that every race would be prettier if they had some white genes, but I'm not saying to get completely rid of the brownness. Genes are a mess but if you somehow get lucky and pull the right combo you can occasionally get a specimen that is on par pure aryans.
So no, becoming "white" isn't the goal, but white genes are necessary to reach near perfection. It's a means to an end.
