NTA, but it's been out for about 3 and a half months. I wouldn't really say that's a "long time" but you're not entirely wrong. If people wanted it badly enough, they would have bought one earlier on. I personally was considering getting one soon, and not everyone buys things immediately when they come out. The Switch 2 will probably be worth buying in Spring 2026 when a lot more Switch 2 games come out. I know a lot of first party titles are set to drop around that time as well.

Die-hard fanboys were always going to buy it on day one, even if it had nothing really to play. A lot of them fucking just replayed BoTW probably for the 10th time, or Mario Kart, despite it being lame. Now they're all going to play Pokemon ZA, despite it also being garbage but in their eyes it's amazing. Nintendo fans have this ability to just invest 100's of hours into garbage

Odyssey was boring as fuck to me, and I have no intention of playing BANANARAMA. I played mostly JRPG's/RPG's on the Switch 1 and some action/adventure stuff. All the Mario, DK, Kirby, and Pokemon stuff was just boring to me. Nintendo still makes fun JRPG's like Fire Emblem and Xenoblade, but I simply have outgrown Mario, Pokemon, and other series. They just aren't fun to play anymore.

Alright, you're entitled to that subjective opinion. Also, you're essentially arguing for platforming games, and I never stated outright I was against platforming games entirely. I simply don't care for Mario games, or at least the newer ones. I also could argue that not every JRPG/RPG is turn-based. There are plenty that have an open world/open combat system that require more focus/attention.

Man, where the hell is the third party support? Tendies told me devs would rush to put games on it since it‘s powerful enough but the only publishers i see doing that are the desperate ones like ubisoft and capcom. Larian made a fucking native steam deck build for baldurs gate 3 but they can‘t be bothered with the switch 2?

What are you talking about? It's been only 5 months and the Switch 2 has already a pretty decent third-party support (between what's released so far and what's been announced). The Switch 1 sure didn't have anything that close in the same frametime.

I'll buy it when the new Fire Emblem is released, and get the Donkey Kong, Metroid and multiplayer Bloodborne- So it will be ok, especially when finally a new Smash Bros is released for it.
That is what Nintendo consoles are for since the N64. You will not get a new great game every month. But then these days, Playstation isn't any better-
