You need not to worry about it going anywhere else. The Summer Games Show was jam packed showcasing games made on Unreal Engine. It's safe to assume that the winning result will be a game made on Unreal Engine. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is a sure bet.

Not really. It doesn't deserve fucking anything, then again a lot games don't deserve awards either. I'm sure you think that because your favourite streamer told you so, but it's crap. Silksong is a glorified new grounds flash game, doesn't deserve anything either.

I have not actually played Silksong, only tried it for a bit and decided it wasn't worth the effort for me at least. Seems like it disappointed a lot of people with how unbalanced and time consuming it was
