I’ve been multiplayer gaming for years but never really used a mic mainly because on EU servers there’s not much talking aside from ESLs insulting each other

But then I started playing deadlock and it’s pretty much impossible to win some games unless you tell your Slav teammates what to do. It’s kinda fun playing team captain but I’m a little awkward though and stammer a bit when using my mic (something I don’t do irl).

I don’t see where this stigma comes from about mic users and non mic users but the Americans that join EU servers sometimes never shut the fuck up so maybe it’s different there.

I'd use voice chat but there's rarely an instance where I don't immediately hate someone the moment I hear them talking. I don't report anyone unless they're effeminate or passive aggressive sounding though; I might not be using my mic to call you a fag but at its core the spirit of calling people faggots for being annoying lives on.

The only game in recent memory thst I can get people to talk on occasionally is Escape From Tarkov. Not sure what it is, maybe it's the fact that your gear "matters" and having an encounter not just end in a fight is a good thing.
For all its faults there really is nothing like EFT out there. The Cycle Frontier was better but they shelved that because they were retarded.
