Creating a character who is a mix of two different cultures (one who even has shown a dislike for the culture of the other one) in a game that is supposedly historically "accurate" doesn't make much sense.

This is unironically my headcannon, just for the fact that the Main director and several other devs on he team were extremely anti-woke when discussing development on social media. My 2cents is the woke shit ended up being the deciding factor on if the game would even have the budget to be completed or not, so their hands were tied.
