when making a custom character do you just go with default/randomize or do you put effort in it?

do you pay attention to default aesthetics or do you go for your idealized character?

Depends on the game. Default characters and presets in Inzoi, Rise of the Ronin, Black Desert Online etc. are great.

Default presets in western games... Not so much...

In Cyberpunk i tend to use the default clothes. I remember 1.0 where my guy looked liked a clown because of armor on clothes.

Still disappointed they never added full body armors in "outfits"

those are the bare minimum, you'll have to look for eyes, makeup, hair, eyebrow, eyelash, cyberware, tats, piercings etc. yourself since they're more subjective and you can't really go wrong with either one of them

I remember using the cleaned up no-cyberware version of this makeup mod https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3229 a long time ago but I can't find it anymore
