No. The only time runs are over before they're over is if you get strings of having to take turns off to try and cure ailments. Something just happened to me last run after a random slacker late Y2 with energy close to full
Going to Infirmary means my energy will be full and I'll miss out on free NY energy. An unsuccessful infirmary visit means the problem extends to the raffle energy.
Training leaves chance of negative growth with director and also bringing energy to full and also miss out on NY energy and then raffle energy. But a successful training means it at least uses energy that I'll get back during the raffle and take skill points for NY.

I went with the training and low rolled. I ended up missing 70 free energy (30 NY, 20 Raffle, 20 infirmary visit) because the bar was full, and didn't show up to a +50 rainbow training. The run never recovered from that.

As I type this out I realize should have done an optional race.

Fell behind two summer marus and a mayano front about 200 meters before the final corner, and as she moved up and overtook mayano, look at curren and a couple more skills into ult triggers and she gets back the lead on the corner. Pacer Oguri won afterwards.

just do it. if a front runner isn't in the front there's a check every 3 seconds with a success rate of 1% per 100 wit, if she passes the check she'll start running 3% faster. same deal with leading front too, if the 2nd place front is too close to them they'll get a chance to make the check too. Everyone with s.maru is going to run her so you're likely going to have at least 1 front to duel every race. Front dueling is also going to crank up the stamina use for everyone in the race since they're all trying to keep up. Umalator will give you inaccurate stamina info so don't bother with it

Having one means you can uncap her over time, she’s good. But is she necessary to roll for? Depends.
She’s the only card that offers Fall Runner which is useful for CMs, right handed also useful green. She gives great race bonus and fan bonus, builds wit like nobody’s business, good training effectiveness so just a strong stat booster in general, better at MLB of course. I dont really get the hate. It’s the strongest wit card with a ton of utility.

Assuming you rerolled kitasan and already got her MLB’d + got a creek early on, Fine Motion SHOULD be your next strong support card you go after. But if you dont have creek and dont have Kitasan MLB’d, you ought to prioritize those.
