It's literally the first interaction she and Shu have. She is not gleeful by any means, she looks concerned, and was looking for her friends to cool off after listening to her parents talking about wedding her.

I understand why you say that the real world is not real, but the dark world isn't any more real by any stretch of the imagination. So do we agree that both worlds are just a symbolic fight between two sides?

That's not a very good plot and the game is called Silent Hill retard bro. You didn't have to call it SH but you did to invite the comparison. There's a clear difference between "fuck this is real" and "its all a dream". Being raped and fucked in the ass in the real world hurts and leaves consequences far more grievous than if it were to happen in a dream. It's common sense.

Whether it's a good game or not, its up for debate, but don't take some high ground, asking for nonsensical absolution just because you like the game. It doesn't stand on its own. It tries to retcon the SH universe. It draws the comparison. Nobody said its bad cause its not set in SH. Learn to argue in good faith.
