I mean, they did the bare minimum, there's like 5 free upgrades for switch games and the paid upgrades are barebones, have paid for the Kirby and Mario Party DLC, the Forgotten Land expansion is small as fuck, a handful of levels that don't add much and the Jamboree one adds almost nothing to the game, a terrible way to sell the camera, the BotW/TotK upgrades come with the online but it's just a higher internal resolution with a few qol additions, DK is boring and Mario Kart is well, yet another Mario Kart.
I don't regret it as I didn't buy it for me but Nintendo is doing a terrible job with it.

I don't regret it. I'm just frustrated that Nintendo clearly pushed everything back like 4-5 months because they can't stock enough units for Japan. They're holding back devkits because they "want to stop people from pushing out shovelware like on the Switch 1." All this ends up doing is making the old 720p games look like garbage on the 1080p screen, and the Switch 2 already shares the eshop with the Switch 1, so there's still a shovelware problem.

I'm middle ground. I got a switch 2 cause I loved emulating mario kart 8 and pokemon arceus, but smashbros/ luigis mansion, and marvel ultimate alliance 3 weren't working well on emulation. Well mario kart was a bust, i don't even touch smash bros, couldn't finish luigis mansion 2 without being bored, but found love in marvel ultimate alliance 3/ fzero99/ and metroid prime remake out of all things. Donkey kong was fun and I still need to play kirby forgotten land. So it is a partial waste.
