It's coming along. Keep chipping away. Just a couple little tips in case you get hung up on one of these.
>I don't have enough space for X
Yes you do. You have functionally infinite space. Just build it over there and belt it in
>But the belt will be long!
So?
>I ran out of X
Build more. Except maybe for loke the first 2 hours you will never really need to hang out and wait on something. You can always build more.
>But if I build more X I need more Y
Build more Y
>Buy then I need mo-
Build more. Hopefully you're picking up on the pattern.

Explore the game. Have fun. Every big project or complicated science pack starts with a single process. You may see those huge factories and think "I could never build like that" but all you have to do is take projects one part at a time and move on to the next. You'll turn around in a short 40 hours and marvel at how wild and huge your factory is. Just chip away at it, one project and one factory block at a time.

Not the best way of wording it, more like;
You don't have any physical constraints on space, so give yourself loads of it to prevent spaget

>Coal line going infront and around the steam engines making expansion harder
>Stone lane in smelting column (You should have separate columns for each ore and you don't need a lot of stone bricks to get going)

>Refrigeration 2x2 chest that can be used to pull items from by bots
>Unlocked in Aquillo, requires foundations

Wube is honestly so shit. The fact we didn't get this or some slowdown mechanic in platforms in transit for spoilable items unlocked in Aquillo is telling to how much they probably hate the playerbase.
They're even going to remove quality modules from crushers. What a bunch of faggots. Seriously, fucking dickheads. They will never admit they fucked up with Gleba's mechanic like a bunch of narcissistic furry fags.

Also check out this super compact and Tile-able build which I'm sure you can use beacons on if you're smart.

This isn't my blueprint, I found it on their discord, but the fix is easy. Just change the recipe to yumako. It's the same shit as jellynut.

This is my personal bioflux blueprint. I actually think the one above is kind of shit for efficiency and beacons.

This makes very fresh bioflux and pulls only half a belt of fruits. Needs about 15 fruit per second to make a good 18.5/sec of bioflux.
Anonymous No.723688665 [Report]

Wait I just checked my shit and It actually only takes 4 fucking Jellynut fruit and 10 Yumako fruit.
Huh. Rate calculator doesn't really get you the full picture in Gleba.

If they do that, then I'll just DL a mod to add it back.
the only mods I use are disco science, shield projector (forcefield projectors for ships, which I like more than running a line of walls at the front of a ship), and transport rings (stargate ring teleporters. They're fun for fucking around with at the end-game)
Anonymous No.723689914 [Report] >>723691523
>>723689074
It's just that a lot of the basic things the expansion lacked feels extremely lazy on the part of the developers.
If you asked me, these assholes rely far too much on modders to wipe their fucking asses for them.
It wouldn't have been hard to add a science tech to reduce spoilage rate in space platforms. You could make the argument that outer space is cold. Like, for fuck's sake. It makes more sense than space ships having drag. Fucking Wube.

This is my science set-up.
9.5 Bioflux into 7 Agriculture science exchange rate.
That's per second. Pretty good, right? Even makes some power on the side from the little trickle of pentapod egg production. It's retard proof. No quality, no bullshit, it never lets anything hatch. No revolts ever.

Did you know that Factorio was built from the ground up in it's own engine? Basically no game does that because modern game devs arent actually real game devs, just artists that can write some basic bitch code.
So thats part of the reason it never goes on sale, nor should it.

sending space spation floor 50 by 50 is tedious as fuck when you need like 400 for a decent small spaceship
Anonymous No.723692593 [Report]
>>723692365
There's this way you can cheese it by making a T3 assembler with speed modules only crafting platform foundations.
You only gotta ship up like 4 loads of copper and steel to get it churning platforms for you. But you also need the solar panels while it's making it and it helps to be efficient and set the cap of platforms you want for what kind of ship you're making beforehand.
Just use circuit logic, is my solution. It's not hard. But shipping platforms after you've been making them for a while on Nauvis isn't a bad choice either. Sure, you're wasting more rocket parts, but who gives a fuck? Just ship them all and be done with it once you've got it all made.
I usually set aside a solo platform assembler near the mid-game once I got the recipe and I tend to have enough form first space platform from that.

This. Get some fucking beacons with speed and put production modules in the silos and you're good. Get like 2 or 4 depending on your needs.
If you haven't figured out how to use the interplanetary shipments then figure that shit out and you'll get how it all works better. Should give you an idea for scale and excess.

>factory is still a mess beyond green science, blue science setup is spaghetti and I'm still manually filling up the assemblers for purple science

Do you make your own blueprints?
It sounds like you're not progressing because you don't keep track of your improvements and better set-ups.
And blue science is piss easy... Purple science is just a steel production check.

I don't get it. Do you think you're going to come up with a different way to make green or red circuits?
Is this a memory thing?
Anonymous No.723694095 [Report]
>>723694017
Yeah, obviously. The nutrients don't produce more than a small excess for the biochambers. It's all very efficient to ensure freshness is as high as possible and waste is burned. If there's too many science packs, they all eventually turn into spoilage which gets churned into spoilage fuel for the towers.
It's very fool-proof.

Going to gleba first to get the fucking belt stacking out of the way might be the best move to make, honestly. Get some Stack inserters and Fulgora becomes truly fucking immaculate.
Belt stacking with conditions to only output if over 16 items are in a chest makes Fulgora the best planet.
At that point, you can even make it so that you're exporting rocket parts directly from Fulgora. Shit's crazy with belt stacking. Vulcanus, too. Belt stacking on Vulcanus is fucking amazing.
T4 belts and belt stacking is fucking crazy good for bullshit builds. Gears stacked on a belt can make T4 belt production way easier, too.
