I think it sets a dangerous precedent. Men have died by ironically liking this game until they suicide from the consequences. I've looked into the fanbase and there is something malign there. It is no accident that so many man go into the dark souls 2 machine and come out dead. Threads here have a cultish vibe about the game that reminds me of Heaven's Gate.

I heard there's even a sick joke with a monument tallying the dead. They say its a stat for player deaths but I've seen rumors about it being more.

Comparison is the cornerstone of critique and quite frankly you're a massive faggot if you didn't have fun playing souls games with /v/ or playing through the armored core series. I like Fromsoft, for the most part, haven't been particularly enthusiastic about their releases from Elden Ring onwards, but its a lot better than people defending shit like KCD2 or E33.

The lightning engine mod makes it bearable. Kinda sad that DS3 is based on the bloodborne engine instead of keeping all the features of the DS2 one.
