You can emulate it at a higher resolution and framerate if you have a half decent PC.
Trust me even with a couple bugs/crashes it's a better experience than the ps4 version at 20fps.

That’s more than I’d pay for a used PS4 if I could help it, but Bloodborne is a very good video game.

I just glanced at eBay and found a bunch of PS4 slims for around $100. If you buy one, get that model. The original model’s fans are much louder.

It was totally worth it for me years ago, at this point I'd just emulate it and if you don't have a good enough PC then put the money into that

If you are going to play Bloodborne you need to emulate it or use a PS4 Pro. The normal PS4s have constant sub 30fps.

Might as well just get a PS5 at this point. GTA 6 is out in May. Bloodborne plays better and loads faster on PS5 anyways. And it actually has co op and functions unlike emulation.

i emulated it and its great
you just need like 3-4 mods to make the game completely playable.
dont mind the cursor the recording software makes it appear.

For Bloodborne alone? Absolutely not.
For Bloodborne, Fist of the North Star, Last Guardian, Gravity Rush, Sakura Wars, Driveclub, Odin's Sphere and a few other exclusives and multiplats? Sure, go ahead.
Not sure about that price though, you should be able to find a PS4 Pro at that range.

The performance on a base PS4 is certainly less than ideal, but the PS4 Pro barely runs it much better.
I played the whole game on a base PS4 ten years ago and had a lot of fun, so I don’t really think emulating it or buying the beefiest PlayStation you can is going to really make or break the experience.

I think going from playing Elden Ring at 60fps to Bloodborne at 24fps would be tough.
But then again 60fps in Bloodborne makes it too easy in a lot of ways. The game is designed around the 30fps cap.

Its a locked 30fps at 1080p on the PS5 but has vastly improved loading times.

I defeated orphan while emulating but I will admit I did not beat the game. The forced motion blur and random fps drops of the real thing were not in the way for me.

Even on the PS5 Pro, I still notice the occasional stutter. Pretty funny. They’re really going to try to make me buy the game a second time in a few years.

Yeah at worst it crashes once every few hours, sometimes I have to go back to the main menu and hit continue to fix graphical bugs, but it only takes a few seconds to load back in
Took me awhile to get cleric beast and now im stuck on father G, didn't know cleric beast was optional
Didn't even know how parrying works in this game but its kinda neat, the setting is also a very nice change of pace compared to the other souls
