Name a movie adaptation game that's actually not bad.
The vast majority of movie adaptations into games are garbage, but there are still some that aren't particularly awful to play.
I think the Mad Max game version is okay to play. Not great, but at least it's not garbage.

>can only max out your car after doing pretty much everything thus leaving nothing for you to unleash your fully upgraded car/gear on
Its only real flaw.

Batman Begins was a decent game at worst.

>>723680780
The game has no business being as good as it is.

It had a fair few flaws, if we're being honest. The one you mentioned, races being stupid easy, boss/convoy encounters being utterly dull as they all drive in circles like gormless morons, despite bamham combat being a thing for like a decade by that point and polished to a mirror shine in other games it's implemented poorly in Mad Max, especially with how gimped he is compared to actual bamham with all the gadgets and moves batman has. Also, it's unforgivable to not have a secret unlock Interceptor that has maxed stats as a 100% completion unlock that you can use in a NG+.

Terminator 2D: NO FATE
Looks like a fun retro pixel game.

I will always be baffled by how good these games are. Like the movies are maybe 5-6/10 at best for me, but the games are solid 8-9/10s.

I really wouldn't even call these adaptations. They're more like entries in the series.

For adaptations I think of the Tobey Spiderman games. Movie-tie ins

The car makes no sense for its environment anyway. You got massive air intakes in a dusty ass desert? You want to cross huge distances of empty wasteland with a giant gas-guzzling engine? You're fockin' asking for it m8.

Spider-man 2 (2004) still has the best feeling web swinging of any Spider-man game to date, also a fairly loose adaptation of the movie with a shit ton of extra stuff added

Why? It suits the theme as any Mad Max ending. Tons of loss, and back to square one.

The Thing is my favorite movie of all time. The game is dogshit. Zero atmosphere. No music. Boring ass gameplay.

movie adaptation games are usually pretty good actually, since the 2000s
Before that they were mostly slop

Fuck it's weird his these flat graphics (low polygons, flat textures, no bump mapping) looks more realistic and has visual clarity than modern games with RTX on.
