No because Capcom still cannot be bothered to update or balance their game. The fact that throw loops and LF>DR are accessible on a per character basis is fucking retarded. The painfully slow patching process of this game shows how utterly timid and/or stupid the team is behind it. It took them nearly two years to realize that Marisa kinda needed that invincible level 1; how long will it take for them to realize that a "neutral" oriented character like Elena cannot survive without one either, especially when she cannot freely convert off low pokes, has no corner pressure from strike/throw mix/loops, and has virtually nothing but gimmicks that can be back walked out of by over half of the roster. All the game is, at this point, is just characters that can slime rush the best with the least restrictions possible. Cannot believe this shit is as popular as it is in Japan; absolute slop.

Yeah, you can kind of tell when someone on the team started playing a character or talking to someone who does. For instance, Chun got nerfed early on with nothing to really compensate her. Then suddenly, over the past year or so, her tensho kicks kept receiving small buffs every update. It almost feels like just a couple of dudes are in charge of balancing and are making slight adjustments as they slowly familiarize themselves with the entire roster.
Really makes for a stagnating experience.

Ngl, I managed to barely finish her Intermediates before tapping out. A personal best for me. I don't usually get that far.

I plan on just practicing all those for a while, watch some combo vids from some pro lab rats and see if I can't at least make Gold.

SF6's and Tekken 8's approaches to balancing piss me off so much. Tekken's is self-explanatory, but the glacial pace of SF6's balance changes is baffling. Tens of thousands of people are playing your game. You have the feedback, you have the data, you have the resources. Fucking Furries of Aether 2 has more frequent balance updates.
