if you're talking about UEFN then its also possible. To be clear having 5k CCU on any other platform other than roblox is crazy good numbers, thats like top 1% of steam already. I know recently several people have been ironically stealing popular roblox games and adapting them into fortnite maps (steal a brainrot being the top one that even epic games themselves promoted which I find pretty pathetic)
There's several things working against roblox though
1. market is really competitive nowadays, so if you are making slop cashgrabs, you are competing with dozens of other games that are doing the same thing
2. long term retention is really fucking hard as you mentioned, and even harder for cashgrab games as most of these games usually go up from 1k to 20k CCU and then die within a few weeks and drop back below 1k
3. roblox rapes your ass with their cut, 70% of the initial revenue is taken when you devex the roblox fun money into USD
roblox is harder than it looks on the surface. usually the only devs that succeed actually have somewhat of a passion for making good games, or are just really dedicated to wanting to scam kids for money. pick your poison
