I literally could not finish this game because the end boss on hard is impossible and I was a retard and played the game with uncapped FPS which meant everything one shot me. However, the game is just middling in everything, from gameplay to story.

If it was discount RE4 I would be happy. RE4 "just works" on PC and has saves that are convenient

desu you need to install a fix for Cold Fear to run properly on PC.
At this point, any game I buy, first thing I do is head straight onto PCGamingWiki and get all the necessary fixes. Saves a lot of headaches. Steam guides also help.
