PatricianTV did this throughout his Oblivion and Skyrim videos, I couldn't stand it. He takes what other video essays say, disingenuously applies it to the masses of people, and then argues against it to pretend like he's fighting against the world instead of literally point-for-point disagreeing with someone who already made the video he is making.

By "watch" I mean have it playing in the background while I work and do other things. Once you've had a video essay play once or twice in the background you remember their arguments in the order presented, so it becomes obvious when someone is going through their videos in order to write their own video stealing their idea/talking points.
