Well, the point was to adapt her design so she looked less like a princess and more like an explorer on the road. So a big princess dress was off the table for practicality. So some leggings make sense because they’re still feminine and appealing but are a lot easier to move around in.

When I was 7 years old my cartoons looked like this.
I developed a BDSM fetish without even knowing what it was yet. My parents bought me a Batman TAS "Paint & Sketch" game, where you could select backgrounds and place characters from the show and give them their costumes on.
