Why is the most common oversight for them? Villains like Dagoth Ur, Irenicus, or the Sith Triumvirate would be even more widely revered if they had ten-minute boss tracks accompanying them and exclusive abilities that accurately displayed their strength, like creating black holes that rip out parts of the arena to throw back at you.

Video games are a visual medium. You can play a game without hearing, touch, smell but you can't play it without eyes.
E33 is one of the few western games that remember that artstyle is king.

Games need combat systems that can allow for that sort of thing
If you had kotor 2 bosses doing anything even vaguely cinematic, it would eat way into the dev budget just to produce an end result that looks like the average MMO raid boss that nobody gives a shit about

This is why I hope that KOTOR 1 remake just apes FF7R's combat. It's basically the perfect evolution of RTw/P.
