I was left not really understanding who was actually in control by the end.
I clocked the whole "Humans are dead and not actually the ones giving orders" pretty early, even before I got to Replicant, it's a somewhat common trope and some of the shit the operators in the bunker say allude pretty heavy to it.
But I though Bunker was the big HQ and it was manipulating anything only to turn out that the Bunker was just a fancy wunderwaffe side project?
So the androids that are in charge are somewhere else, but where? On the planet? On another space station?
Someone built and issued the YoHRa directives, but who? Are Jackass and Anemone major players or just field agents? Are they actually above YoHRa or below? It seems that Jackass was in the dark and is really pissed at who ever is in charge based on the report you get.
But then were Machines the ones winning or did the head androids also puppeteered them?
Some of it is answered in the little side stuff I have managed to read, but it feels way to vague.
The end of Replicant, besides the big ass flower, you kind of get the feeling shit is fucked with Junk Heap mass producing bots and shades rampaging.

They kind of hint kind towards the 2B reveal with the side-quest and when it is revealed at the end, the thing 2B says about "why does it always end up like this" at the end of prologue now is put into context.
I am also not sure how the model naming scheme works. I though it was by series, but I guess there is let's say model 15, and then that model can spec into B, E, D, F (?) and O specifications?
Can there be more than one model name active, they did talk about increasing 9S production, but does that mean like more reserve bodies or more 9S running around?
Is there a 9S and a 2B for each sector, like with Devola and Popola? I am not sure if this revelation was for better or worse, because Replicant makes it seem that there are just one pair of Devola and Popula and that they are a big deal.
