I'm into point n click adventures, so I played Thimbleweed Park when I should've been studying for an important test that I ended up failing. The opening is incredible, you start playing as a couple of detectives and both of them have written in their notebooks that they have to keep their true intentions hidden from the other. Immediately I was hooked, I thought it was an awesome idea to have multiple mysterious protagonists who keep their cards close to their chests. The more I played, the more I hated the game. Halfway through the game they introduce a new protagonist who is a boring gamer girl geek, who basically takes over the story. Then at the end it turns out that the video game is a video game all along, and all the characters become aware of this fact. It's retarded. And while I really failed all my classes due to depression at the time, it felt extra bad to ditch the tests because I was at home playing such a shitty game.
