It's not even true which is the funniest thing.
Celeste was made before the dev trooned out. It was NOT about tranny shit.
But then years later after the dev trooned out, they added hormone pills and a flag in the background in a post-game added cutscene. And then claimed that the game had always been about a gender journey or whatever the fuck. Even though that was certified not what the game was about, and contradicts the dev's past statements. So it's bullshit.

It's a solid platformer with good gameplay, graphics and music. You can avoid all possible trannyshit by simply skipping all dialogue but not playing videogames and complaining on /v/ instead is also an option I guess.
