As the other anon said it's for DLC marketing.
AdMech are one of those factions that get a lot of attention online but in reality aren't popular outside of memes. Hell AdMech already are having to pull from another army just to get enough units for a roster.
AdMech as a DLC faction would do poorly, while IG, Nids, Chaos, and Eldar can all stand even on their own as DLC.

Not the most (which is likely GSC), but pretty up there.
In general they're one of those factions stuck in a weird spot because technically they DO have everything to make them work except a huge centerpiece, which they have Knights to pull from like how DoW4 is doing, but their kits are all fairly modern so they also can't really have a refresh wave for new stuff to ride in with.
GW could technically solve this by allowing 30k Mechanicum models to be rolled in, but they're anal about keeping sales records for each game separate and won't even make Legends rules for them.

this is weird to say when a lot of chaos demons can be played in two utterly completely different games and universes, 40k and aos/fantasy
Anonymous No.723729302 [Report] >>723729546
>>723728376
>the literal other half of this entire army is in 30K, what the fuck is this shit
Like I said, GW despises cross-compatibility.
Each GW game (40k, AoS, 30k, Fantasy) is split into separate teams. Each team logs the sales of their own game, regardless of what game the models are actually used for. Budget and bonuses naturally are allocated more to the teams that perform the best.
The 40k team knows that 30k Mechanicum would make great minis for 40k, but that would mean 30k would see more sales while 40k AdMech would potentially sell less, so the 40k team not only doesn't make rules for 30k Mechanicum, it specifically tries to avoid making units that 30k models could be used as stand-ins for.
It's why 30k tanks look different and often have different footprints; 30k Land Raiders aren't even sold any more in favor of the 30k-only Spartan Assault Tank. 30k Marine characters often come on 32mm bases, while 40k counterparts come on 40mm bases to try and dissuade from double-dipping.
GW manages to succeed IN SPITE of their practices, not because of them.
>>723728657
Custodes are an odd case because they're genuinely unpopular. In 30k they were a black sheep faction because most of their vehicles and heavy options were absurdly priced Resin that didn't sell. GW opted to then bring Custodes to 40k with minimal changes to try and sell more of aforementioned overpriced Resin.
Now Custodes are liable to be getting a 30k-only refresh, which is unlikely to translate to 40k.

Yeah 40k Daemons are basically dead. They're not getting a Codex this edition and outside of niche detachments in the respective Cult Legion Codices running Daemmon allies for CSM was intentionally made into being a pain. It's looking increasingly likely that Daemons are going to be removed as an independent faction for 40k and just be used to fluff the Cult Legion rosters in 11th, likely with significant cuts to prevent AoS cross-usage.

The AdMech actually believe in the Emperor as the mortal aspect of the Omnissiah, so all their worship still goes to him. He engineered it this way because the actual Omnissiah is a C'tan buried inside Mars and the AdMech REALLY don't need to know about it.
Also the Tau themselves didn't spawn Tau'va, the auxillaries did. The Tau themselves barely understand it and are scared shitless about the implications.

Promethium burns real hot. It's basically napalm crossed with diesel and turned up to 11.
Most computers can't handle temperatures above 200 degrees, and Necrons are nothing if not computers.

Anything electronic will have a fail-state at a high enough temperature. It might not always damage the structure of the machinery, but electrons don't behave normally when they're at extreme temperatures.
If promethium gets is their chest cavity or eyes, they probably are having a rough time.

Pic related is about an Imperial clerk turned Propagandist who is sent to a Death World for an assignment and learns the horrors of war firsthand, witnessing the Guard being shoved into a bloody meatgrinder of a campaign in which the planet itself literally rips men to shreds before they even get to the Orks, who are portrayed as an unrelenting and nigh insurmountable menace that they only barely manage to ward off with colossal casualties.

No.
The unfortunate truth of 40k is that 90% of consumers, both of media and tabletop models, just want more Marines. They want more Marine models, more Marine books, more Marine games, more Marine animations. They don't care about other factions beyond what those factions can contribute to making Marines look cooler. Just this edition Ultramarines alone got more models than most of the Xenos factions combined. The fans do not care if the status quo exists, they want to see the big man in space armor punch aliens and daemons to death and they don't give a fuck about any other part of 40k.

She's not an actual Craftworld Eldar. You get more information and insight on the culture and nature of CW Eldar from Marazhai, the Dark Eldar character in the game, than you do from her, I presume because the writer for that character actually bothered to read 40K lore on the faction. At absolute best Yrliets writer read a short two paragraph summary on what CW Eldar are, and completely winged it from there. Yrliet acts like a bitchy human teenager cosplaying an alien culture and people she knows absolutely nothing about, and it's a really terrible character as a result. Well, there's more issues with her than just that, but as a CW Eldar she is the worst written example in 40K media history, she doesn't act, think or behave like CW Eldar are supposed to in any way shape or form, even her "betrayal" is laughably retarded to the point they later retconned and wrote it out. The rest of the CW Eldar in the game are pretty badly done, too, the sole exception being Nocturne since once again I guess the writer for that character actually read up on the circus a bit before writing him. Owlcat writers being lazy hackfrauds who produce garbage characters is nothing new, though.

Which is why just about any Eldar would rather choose death than go on said ship, something else that the writers conveniently handwave and completely ignore the rules of the setting in doing so.
