What is both the best plot twist and the worst plot twist in gaming?

I fucking hate being able to see into the future, you faggots spoiled a lot of good games ITT I was wanting to play one day.

I didn't think much of it when I played it 20 years ago but I know a lot of people hated this game's twist

I haven't played the game yet but it put me off of ever playing it, it sounds so ass.

These games are 20+ years old, just accept that you're late to the party

90% of you niggers refuse to touch a game if it isn't on PS5, so if you're going to be a special snowflake the least you could do is learn how to practice common sense.

>common sense
meaning what? it's not like you can avoid discussion for the most popular games forever. most of the games that have been spoiled for me were from completely unrelated threads

Don't go into threads about the best and worst plot twists for one.
Second, play the games instead of "wanting" to play them.

Was that one of the ones where they realise they are in a videogame midway?

If he was so smart and had the ability to MIND HACK people across time and space, why didn't he take into account he might do it to himself?

I spoil games in the threads specifically about that game because the people posting there should be familiar with the game, don't blame me for what others do or your lack of drive to actually play vidya.

Yes. And it applies to every other Star Ocean as well, retroactively ruining every game in the series. Truly the worst plot twist of all time.

Saren's spooky ship being a Reaper was an amazing twist, as was the conversation that followed

With stuff like "Shiro is the redman" and "your sister that the reader didn't even know existed up to this point was standing behind you the entire time" what other whacky and goofy twists are there in VNs?
Anonymous No.723748715 [Report]
I think the twist in Prototype that the character you place as wasn't actually Alex Mercer but the literal virus itself that gained sentience is one of my favourite twists in gaming cause I really like how genuinely surprising it was and how it completely recontextualizes his moral dilemma throughout the game.
