I feel sorry for Ryong. She tried to be a good Prince, to foster good relations with the anarchs, and do what was best for her city, and it all went to shit because Lou decided to throw a combination tantrum/power grab, and then she got burned to a crisp by Safia.

I only play as Gangrel or Malkavian, so I have zero interest in this game. It's blatantly obvious they didn't include those two and Nosferatu entirely because they were lazy shits that refused to make alternate routes for those outlier options.

It is an incredibly downbeat story. The original had a much more fun tone. This would be like if VTMB1 had Jeanette and VV and Smiling Jack doomed to die from the start of the story with no real way to change it.

You can't always have what you want. Games like this, and Mass Effect 3, teach an important lesson about accepting that you're not always in control.

I'm torn because Bloodlines 2 can't become a true cult classic unless it fails financially and kills its developer. But if they're able to keep working on it they might improve it.

It has better writing (the plot itself is infinitely better, and the character writing is overall better) and combat, and the voice acting is on par, but everything else about the package is thin and undercooked.
