Fortnite is ok, a bit too sanitized but i can't play 2 seasons in a row, i get burn out fast of the same map, i might return if they release a new decent battle pass or teto.

But everything that gets made nowadays is either:
>Trash that wants to suck up all your free time like a second job due to player retention systems like dailies and battle passes
>Garbage that's made to be replaced in a year or two with the "next installment" which you'll have to shell out 70-100+ bucks for because that envelop keeps getting pushed further and further
>Something that'll just die in a few months because it fails to garner a good enough playerbase to survive
Not to mention everyone taking other games way too seriously
I can't even think of another game that allows goofy shit like killbinds or naming and describing your weapons to fuck with whoever you killed

There needs to be some magical game that doesn't die soon after launch and isn't built for bleeding you dry for both time and money while also being a fun fucking game AND doesn't take itself too seriously
And something like that will never, ever happen

Here's to another thousand hours on TF2 because there's fuck all else like it

All the extra 'content' has turned the game from a fun team-based class shooter into 24+ retards running around with meme loadouts trying to deathmatch another guy with an equally autistic loadout. As if that wasn't bad enough, the game's a total eyesore too.

Even if it were, now there's greater incentive AND a good chance people are gimping themselves outright trying to score frags with le funneh meme weapon/combo. It's also just plain annoying getting into a scrap and there's 800 possible loadouts a single class can have.

Team Fortress 2 is supposed to be a simple game with clear, concise design. I'm not gonna say stock only is perfect but we've passed the theoretical perfect middle ground over a decade ago and the constant need to rebalance the entire goddamn sandbox only shows how pointless the many additions were.

I am used to play against invisible snipers, I developed a 6th sense to feel the cursor over my character model. The entire point of my favorite tps is frenectic action, its evasion techniques are faster and more complex than your turdteam2 jumps.
