That's really all they have nowadays. That and they started selling phone cases and all kinds of weird shit that has nothing to do with videogames. For me it was when I went and bought a video game, BRAND NEW, back when I was young. I don't remember the exact year but it was a brand new PS2 game which was $50. By bus, I was maybe like 40 mins away from Gamestop, buy it, go home, play it for like 30 mins, hated it, immediately hop right back on the bus and go back up to Gamestop to return it. Dude at the register that LITERALLY sold it to me told me the most I could get was $35 store credit or $25 cash. I'm like you literally just sold it to me an hour ago.

The worst part is that I asked if they would price it for more and with a straight face he told me that they would put it back up as used for $45. Since then I've only been to Gamestop twice. Once was to buy a headset because I couldn't find it anywhere else and the 2nd time was during the pandemic lockdown, I ordered a brand new PS3 from Amazon so I could play Skate 1-3 for old time sake and Gamestop had the games the cheapest...aside from that I steer clear from Gamestop like the fucking plague. I'll give my money to Jewzon or Best Buy before I ever give Gamestop another fucking cent. And I've even heard that they also sell used shit as brand new nowadays and will just reseal/repackage shit.
