The performance isn't bad either. Was playing it on the Deck last night, and while it isn't a solid 60 it hovered at around 50-60 and didn't look too bad with FSR disabled. Once they patch FSR and DLSS, the game's gonna be fine. Any stronger UMPC should be able to hit 60 just fine, and I 100% believe that the Switch 2 can run it without compromise. Sort of but even back then it wasn't ever a huge seller. Back during Xbox that console sold like 24 million units or something like that. NG1 was able to clear over a million sales and this is back when there was a whole lot less people playing games in general. Ryu is similar to Mega Man. Many people know of the character and might recognize the games but for whatever reason the popularity never translates well into sales. In the case of NG I think the initial Xbox exclusivity hurt matters. However it would have never even been possible to release it on the PS2. Not even the PS3 as evident by the SIgma games lack of gore and enemy count.

But you zoomers also have to realize that back then not everything needed to sell 5+ million or it was a giga flop. A lot of games enjoyed spotlight and popularity despite their franchises not selling GTA numbers. In fact if GTA6 itself sold as well as GTA3, VC or even San Andreas its going to be seen as a catastrophic level giga flop considering how popular it is now.

He also didn't have his original team or funding. The game was also plagued with development problems. It wasn't until Nintendo offered him some sort of a bailout did the game even get completed at all. I do not blame him for that games issues.
