Retro handhelds have made me play games again.

>By Chinesium GBA (Pic related)
>Load it up with a few Pokemon rom hacks and the Mega Man Battle Network & Zero games
>100% MMBN right away.
>Play for hours at a time
>AAA titles haven't been able to get me to do that in years
>Finish Super Mario World for the first time
>Find a few new series I've never touched before (Shining Soul, my beloved)
>Load up custom firmware to gain access to portmaster
>Finish Stardew Valley through it
>Start farming RetroAchievements through RetroArch
>100% the OG Spyro games thanks to it
>Upgrade to RG406v to play PS2 and Dreamcast games

Buy chink shit, anons.

Nothing beats proper buttons, which none of these phone adapters have.
I have a backbone and an abxylute S8 and they are just fine at best. Tried a Gamesir once and didn't feel any better.

Me too, bought a $55 anbernic. Going through all the ps1 games I never got a chance to play. It's awesome, day at work flys by.

Same. I've knocked out tons of PS1 and GBA hours on this thing. I like the Linux ones because the firmware is way less fiddly than Android. Less time fucking around with the settings and more time playing the games. Great fucking screen, plays the basics, actually fits in my fucking pocket. I'm a happy camper.

Ever since the remake of my favorite game OAT came out 2 years ago, i've been using the switch less and less. However, I started using my PSP again and i've been playing a lot of games I hadnt had the chance before (like picking up my old valkyria chronicles 3 save and finishing the game)

Actually portable handheld gaming is the best

unless it's completely fucked, I'll be getting the anbernig ds as my first and inshallah only chinesium handheld. it's a real shame that even if it's fine, it won't feel the same due to capacitive screens

Not bothering with hinge lottery unless there's a map drawing app that works well on the second screen, then it becomes my dedicated dungeon crawler chinkheld.

I started playing games with a Game Boy, and there's still something satisfying about sitting down with a handheld. I guess it's just easier to have a more casual experience with.

Yes, as long as you don't overload it and browse the general about it on /vr/ or reddit if you are a redditor.
Don't buy in on the FOTM shit
