It's kind of hard to believe that there exists a game that makes me feel like I have less freedom during "gameplay" than a linear walking simulator but rdr 2 fits that bill, at least in a walking simulator you move at your own pace, explore the space in the way that you want to explore it, and are rarely forced to watch cutscenes. RDR 2 made me feel like I was strapped into a toy train at michael jackson's neverland ranch and forced to watch modern liberal propaganda about strong women gunslingers, inbred southerners, and victimized indians. So the kids are right, they're just naturally drawn to fun games and rdr 2 is the perfect opposite of that

But I can easily spend an in-game week just hunting in the northern forest collecting new hunter fashion and letting Arthur's beard grow out in a way that no other game can let me.
I love the game, but I definitely could never replay it, it would drive me crazy.
