How do I convince my mother?

So I usually play games on my own computer, I have a PC set up with two monitors in my and on them and my mom doesn't mind but the other day she got a new WIFI installed on the router and said now my games aren't gonna be pulling as much internet off the router because it's more efficient.
So I'm playing games at night and suddenly my mom comes in and asks how the new wifi is working?

Because she was convinced I was playing just Minecraft and the other day she was on the router but all she uses it for is Facebook, that's the router we have in the living room but I use it

Is her using Facebook somehow taking up all the BANDWIDTH?

Or does your computer's motherboard not have wifi built into its NIC?

Is there somehow not any available ethernet lifts to use on the switch interface of the router?

No I didn't say that, it runs fun the wifi is perfect now but she thinks it's in the wifi when I'm playing games but I usually play games on it and she only saw me playing games that don't use much wifi so now that she's on the wifi
