My wife got so fat these past few years im not sexually attarcted to her anymore. I feel like an asshole when i think that but its not like she just gained a few pounds and got a bit chubbier. I don't know if it serves as any consolation at all to either of you, but I have this really close friend that, while not in the same situation as you guys, was also suffering with loneliness and wanting a normal relationship.
In his case, he had this intense fetish for trannies (his first sexual experience was as a child with other boys) while craving a normal man-woman romantic relationship.
He spent a decade and a half falling deeper and deeper into depression, going full blackpill "I'm ugly useless women are shit I should just die" with frequent suicidal ideations and everything.

I was in the same situation, made it to 35 working retail, and got really pissed off one day and handed my notice in. I was a NEET for a year before one of the CVs I sent out got a response, and now I'm in a WFH job that pays fairly well. Not amazing, but way better than retail.

I go to a therapist. And not really. It's a really pretty looking game though, the gameplay isn't bad either, I'd say it's a little better than Tsushima. Pretty hard too, the highest difficulty is ninja gaiden level difficulty, I wasn't able to play on it for long before I went down to hard which is itself still pretty lethal, you can easily die in 1-2 hits from most enemies and it really shortens the parry window to make it really hard to time them properly.

Started my first Dark Souls playthrough in like ten years, have unlearned everything, suck major ass. I have a SL1 save in Blighttown though, so at one point I must have been not that bad, but for the time being I get raped by the Bell Gargoyles.

Not ok. I didn't get the dream job I wanted. However, the end goal is juggling two related careers and if I'd gotten the dream job, I'd have to let my certificates expire in one career. Now I'm focusing on the first one and delaying getting into the dream one later. I started with ActionScript 2 to do shitty flash games that I never finished, then I moved to ActionScript 3 because that was the standard, then flash died. I learned C++ in college, then C, then Java and finally Python then they stopped teaching me programming languages and I lost interest. For work I had to learn PHP and then I moved to javascript, been stuck there for 7 years and every retarded client has slowly killed any enjoyment out of it.

People say Python is good for newcomers but it but looks nothing like "normal" programming languages, so I'd imagine people that started with it will have to relearn shit when they move on to other languages. I think Godot's scripting is based off Python so if you're doing gamedev you're on the right track I guess.

Anyway every night I realize if I ever wanted to stop programming I can't, because I didn't learn anything else.

If you can finagle your technical experience into an architect or senior analyst or any other kind of position where people are looking for a technical background but you end up with people reporting to you, then your "work" basically becomes attending meetings and writing emails.
