Finished F.E.A.R. and the expansions yesterday, and today I started The Typing of the Dead Overkill, I just wanted a shorter game I can beat in one sitting before moving to the next one. October is ending soon and I still have a lot of horror games to play.

I'm playing The Forever Winter. It's managed to really succ me in, and I'd say I've progressed to vulture mode at this point in time- which is to say, I look for heavy metal on the field, then pounce on it as soon as it gets downed by the factional violence.

Finally played SOMA today, got it for free a while back. Not sure what to play next, that was the first new (for me) game I've played in like a year. I mostly just play old MMOs
The monsters are really fucking annoying at times, like they stopped being spooky and I was just like "fucking stop blocking the corridors I need to go down you cunts", but I do feel bad for all four versions of Simon. Would have kind of preferred an ending to just wipe the Ark, what an abomination.

I just finished up the new atelier game yesterday. Better than the last one but still not as good as the older ones. They really need to work on the balance more. If you actually try hard the alchemy you end up one shotting every enemy.

I was far too cowardly to play Amnesia back in the day, but yeah I might have to check it out again at some point, it's iconic.
I liked SOMA a lot, but the actual gameplay was kind of crap at times honestly, like I said I hated dealing with the monsters after a while. So I don't know if I'm in a rush to go through the rest of Frictional's catalogue tbqh

I know Machine for Pigs was apparently pretty shit, and Penumbra always looked kind of janky to me.

Battlefield 6, enjoyed the arc raiders stress test. Waiting on Maplestory Classic release date to be announced this weekend.

Space Marine 2. I've been using it as a means to test color schemes and aesthetics for a new homebrew chapter I'm planning to start painting.

Helldivers 2, Soma, Binding of Isaac, and Megabonk. Planning on replaying FEAR soon.
I've only got maybe 10 or so more marks to get in Isaac before finally getting my first Dead God, but a lot of those are for Greed Mode and Tainted Jacob, which I am not looking forward to. Megabonk is also filtering me hard, specifically the second stage.

Recently finished SKALD: Against the Black Priory, and I cannot recommend it enough. Solidly 7.5/10 or maybe even 8/10 for me. Fantastic writing, bar some spelling errors, and just deeply compelling and pulling no punches.

Also just started playing Chained Echoes, which so far is very enjoyable. But I reserve final judgement, as it's only been ~2 days.

Aside from that, playing Far Cry New Dawn with my gf 1-2 evenings a week (fridays and some saturdays, specifically). It's dogshit for a whole host of reasons, and I would never suggest anyone get it (I purchased it by accident for us as part of a bundle, not realizing it's Denuvo), but a lot of fun playing together with her, so it's fine.
