Zoomer here. Blame devs for being lazy. Grid Legends was shit. Project Cars 3 was shit. New TXR is a soulless cashgrab. Nobody played Dirt 5. Forza is less fun than fucking Flight Simulator now. WRC, MotoGP and F1 are all blatant reskins on par with Madden and 2K. Gran Turismo 7 was barely even a new game compared to GT Sport. Wreckreation is vaporware. Nu-Trackmania is anti-fun. What else is there even to discuss?

Is the technology really advanced enough to truly simulate going 200 mph? A lot of older games used things like billboards and signage to make it seem like you were going faster than you really were.

>start off a racing career with the most busted ass starter car
>starter car sucks
>invest a quarter million into buying a better car
>win the next 2 races
>shop now has a car that's better than your second car and you shouldn't have wasted money on your second car
>everyone is clowning on your ass in the races
>realize you just need to lock in and win 150 easy races to save up the cash for something better
>start grinding
>it's boring
>carelessly start blowing money on cosmetic upgrades to keep it interesting
>just sort of stop playing it one day
