It's been brought up already itt but Poppy Playtime is another good example. It's fine but the grapple hand mechanic there is very fun and sells the game for me, but it's been developed in Chapters so you need to wait on average a year for maybe 2 hours of gameplay.
In both the devs think their hype is bigger than it is and will keep people invested between the droughts in content.
