Yeah, that was quite offputting and stupid under that setting. Blood of the Dawnwalker has something similar going on with a type of enemy. It's a mecha thing, totally out of place.

As a kid I would’ve completely lost my mind seeing this game. Now being older, every new video just makes me more skeptical. Besides the fact that it looks plasticky and lifeless, as you’d expect from Korean games, I seriously doubt all these mechanics are meaningfully integrated into the story and overall progression. My concern is that it’ll feel like a dead MMO where most features are ultimately irrelevant

They've posted gameplay with other characters but yeah I do find it curious they didn't have the game's combat depth horizontal like in BDO. It looks like they mad the deepest warrior of any game ever though which is still pretty cool. If it sells well I could see them making more games like this with different classes.

For crowds I've only seen goblins and humans I think but the bosses have crazy variety. Dragons, turtles, mechs, beasts, weird magical enemies, etc. Different races of humans too like orcs and other unique ones.

I played the demo the last two years at gamescom. While I enjoyed my time with it, I have to say the controls are very overloaded because you have so many options. The graphics were ok but the demo ran at a kinda low res, making it look a bit crunchy
