Anyone who doesn't like Alien Isolation when dogshit like RE7 exists, is a genuine faggot. Alien Isolation is the one game I wish was 30 hours instead of 16, and I think the devs were so good at setting up scenarios that I think they could have done it. Anyone who thinks it's too long genuinely has no taste but will defend RE7's ugly mosquito house, boring ass SAW section or the dogshit square shaped boat or it's worthless final boss.

RE7 has a great boss with Marguerite, from a style and idea standpoint (ripping off one of my favorite movies [REC]), but other than that, RE7 is absolutely mogged by Isolation. RE7 is a 6-8 hour game and I wanted to end sooner because of how dogshit it was becoming because it was clear Capcom had 0 fucking ideas other than poorly ripping off Outlast (and making what is essentially Outlast for pussies)

I hated that it was another bioshock clone, ah yes let's just leave these convenient audio recordings around with green lights on them so you'll know to click em. Also when I managed to kill an npc that had a gun, before I had a gun pickup, but I wasn't allowed to pick up their weapon, that was the moment I quit. I do respect the game's atmosphere I just wish it wasn't so video gamey.

I love the game too op. I never feel like it’s too long or that it should end sooner. I just enjoy the experience altogether too much. I know it has flaws, same as everything else. Still a 10/10 for me. Hope they’re allowed to make a real sequel someday.

when the alien isn't around, it's one of the coolest looking things. It's like living inside the Alien movie. Exploring the station, playing with the computers, space walking, going to the derelict, etc. All look so amazing
