There's a word for smaller computers that can only play games. It's console. Real consoles at least have exclusives. You should not buyed.

I like mine well enough, but I don't use it super frequently. Probably didn't need to get it but it's nice to have on travel, especially since you can stream games from a real PC.
It's a few years old now, though, and there are other similar portables on the market with better specs. Maybe look at one of those if you want to play PC games on a handheld?

The deck is a device for people who want to actually play games and that makes several other groups of people insanely mad.
They cannot grasp the concept of a device actually being good, instead of being a checkbox for brand loyalty or to show how they wasted money. Things like "actual usability" or "versatility" or "ergonomics that aren't dogshit" infuriate them.

New games are shit. I have a 3200€ PC and I play 20 year old games. I'm still evaluating if it's worth dropping over half a grand just to couch game, since I already have another decent PC in the bedroom with bluetooth peripherals. I think most of the seethe comes from poor thirdies, this isn't a poor person's hobby.
