It's fucking huge now and is a huge boon to the JRA in how it has managed to rekindle Horse Racing Interest amongst the younger Japanese population. They wouldn't do anything drastic to it now, and it is such a known quantity in the horse racing industry that all the significant owner companies and farms are aware of it and what comes of having your horse be represented there. Sure, there are still some owners who refuse, like Deep Impact and Sunday Silence's owners but by and large everyone in the industry knows what happens when they get involved with really cute anime girls with a big Fanbase and a bustling Fanartist community
