Armada. I liked how every unit had actual crews that could be lost/replenished over time, and how you could capture enemy ships with tractor beams and beam your crews on board to capture them. I would make a point of recapturing every assimilated Starfleet vessel in the campaign missions before capturing a Borg construction ship and creating a hybrid base.
Also, Star Trek: Legacy. The campaigns were mid, but the ship combat was really fun for the time. STO combat is like a watered down version with more macros with everything fixed to a 2D plane. Being able to play ENT, TOS, and TNG-era versions of multiple species was also a lot of fun. TOS Federation VS The Borg was peak.
There was an old Windows 98/XP game called Starship Creator were you could make your own ship designs, choose what sort of interiors and modules they had, and even select a crew using characters from TNG/DS9/VOY and send them on missions in real time with an LCARS-inspired UI. It wasn't anything amazing, but I had a lot of fun with it.
Honestly, I just want more games with ship porn.
