Almost all Pokemon games have to be paid for twice. This has been the fact ever since the first Pokemon games were released. You literally had to buy both Red and Blue/Green to get all the Pokemon. And you also had to pay for 2 consoles because some Pokemon evolutions required the Pokemon to be traded between devices.

I don't understand the level of hate Nintendo gets. There's plenty of legitimate hate out their, their handling of MKW online is retarded, the palworld stuff seems like a textbook case of corporate legal bullying, etc. What I don't get are the people who act like Nintendo are the equivalent of the likes of EA, Actiblizzard or Ubisoft. I don't know if it's memory issues, fanboys of another console or genuine retardation, but it's absolutely baffling to me.

also, the problems with ZA seem to all come from Game Freak's massive incompetence and the fact that TPCI has gone woke. Nintendo probably has the least influence on the issues of modern Pokemon of the three companies involved
