It shows how rose tinted shit is. I went back and played NGB and it's incredibly fucking easy dogshit spam, the game is just on fast forward and looks retarded and isn't hard, it was only ever hard to people at the time that all they did was play Halo.

Sekiro is the goal for these kinds of games from here on out. You don't need outright spam and speed, you need control and grace and the right amount of speed vs tangibility.

The new Ninja Gaiden just looks comical and plays like retarded slop. It's the Nu Metal compared to Prog Rock. It sounds complex, but Nu Metal is actually just drop tunings with 1 finger across 3 strings playing at best 5 frets over and over and it's essentially retard child shit button mashing.

Sekiro is more like playing actual guitar to play it well. Nioh I would say even better, but has alot of spam problems of NG as well.

The reason why people dont like more complex games like giving access to wall running in a shooter or fast pace action games like Ninja Gaiden is because they want the game to learn them, they dont want to learn the game. And thats what modern developers are doing - making sure the game learns the player and not the other way around.
