I did the same exact thing then years later heard the second dlc was actually good and got both for dirt cheap and replayed the game. The first dlc was shit but the second was actually pretty solid, much better writing than the main game and had quite a few funny moments. Unfortunately after seeing avowed I assume that was a fluke and suspect that obsidian won't make the sequel like that dlc.

I will literally buy an xbox just for this game because TOW1 was one of my favourite games on PS4. If you like RPGs it's a good RPG in terms of mechanics. The story and stuff is subjective and I didn't mind it but it's not for everyone.

The first game was made by like 60 devs. It was a AA game in budget but a AAA game in scope and they did well all things considered because it feels quite expansive and has a good amount of content.

Barely worth a pirate for me. I don't think many would be excited for this, maybe some thought the first one was ok and this is something to do if there's nothing else, that's about it. They are also very arrgoant to think their game is worth full AAA price, it s a $30-40 game at best
