I think it makes sense from a design perspective, take blue archive general visual style and polish it and use action roguelike gameplay that is really popular
Problem is the gameplay is mid, the character designs aren't that great, the story and setting are very generic and the monetization is awful when the publisher had a reputation for being relatively generous

Yostar was never generous, it was the devs who gave away freebies and had fair rolling system, not the publisher

Genshin also had a pretty decent number of actual gameplay elements going for it at the time, so you actually did get something resembling a game while you gamble.

Devs wanted to make a good game.
Suits wanted to extract more money out of people.
Suits were too heavy-handed, causing them to make less money, and now the devs are suffering the consequences.
You may be familiar with this story if you've seen the prequel, Tribe Nine.
>Ananta >Endfield >Azur Promilia >Limit Zero Breakers >Kaleido >FateTrigger >Duet Night Abyss >Kewliverse >DokeV (lol?) >Mongil >NTE >Fire Control >Nexus Anima
And not a single one will be good.
