There are tons of combat events and trials with multiple difficulty levels that make you squeeze absolutely everything out of the system and characters.

New zones after the Cartwheel tower and inverted mode cause my ms to skyrocket from around 50ms to 300+ for seconds before dropping back to 130something ms and it's annoying so I quit

If I recall, input and gameplay are done client-side, so high ping or not, you shouldn't experience any lag. The only times this matters is activating and navigating around menus.

i find it odd that it mostly happens in the new Augusta/Iuno MSQ zone. Everywhere else I'm ok but if I dare fly over the new zone my screen will freeze for several seconds and then resume with way higher ping than before

The performance did improve a lot, yes, but in my case, there are some places where my computer struggles to run. If I use the super dash in lower Septimont, the game stutters to a crawl. Fly around upper Septimont with lots of crowds? Stutter hell. The new CPU fixed all of those.

I used to, but sooner or later I get tired of keeping up with live service games, and then after missing however many dailies and events it's hard to get the motivation to return. Fun game though, enjoyed the story, gameplay and the minigames they'd add each patch.

Does shit still take forever to kill and is farming mob mat still fucking horror ? That is what chased me off the game like Genshin has better combat (enemies die quickly that is good combat for me and im not even using meta chars) and farming mob mats seemingly takes like 100more time than genshin.

i played it so much at launch i was one of the first people pushing the highest possible ranks. only played until Yinlin and the second big land came out and then i quickly dropped off. it's just a worse genshin and more janky in every way.
