Outer worlds 1 was quite possibly the most mediocre game I've ever played in my life. The story, combat, characters, barebones RPG mechanics, literally everything about it was just "meh". I'm amazed it sold well enough to get a sequel

I enjoyed the humor of the first game a lot but if this one is anything like the first game it's not going to be anywhere near long enough to warrant the price they're asking. We'll see. I'll wait a week after it releases and check out info on the game, time to beat ect and if it seems at least on par with the original i'll grab it when it goes on sale unless the scale of this one is way larger than i imagine in which case it might be something i'd pay full price for.
