Completely wrong, everything about the game is worth the time.
No respawns or repetitive bandit camps, no endless trash mobs, every encounter feels unique, every quest is different, every map is different.
The whole game stays refreshing unlike many of those long 100+ Hours long games that present to you fresh content in their first 20 hours and then they start to recycle content like crazy (every open world game from ubisoft, to witcher, to bethesda to elden ring and botw/totk) or multiple other crpgs.

In fact the game is so refreshing that it feels mandatory to do AT LEAST 2 runs to get the full intended experience.

Both enemy types and encounters should take a normal white person at most 4 turns to beat. Sounds like you were too retarded to play the game. There are bigger issues with the game than you getting filtered in act 1, for instance the powerspike reached at the start of act 3 and the game offering no challenging fights to put in front of you.
