Sigma is a great version, enjoy. I have thoroughly played Black on every difficulty. Its better but Sigma isn’t far behind. People who tell you otherwise haven’t played both versions very much.

She is hot as hell but the game did not need her to be shoehorned in Ryu's story like that. Especially when it could have easily been its own separate mode instead that you can select from the menu.

I wish I could play Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden II.

I will cope by pretending Ninja Gaiden Smegma, Ninja Gaiden Smegma 2, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Ninja Gaiden 3, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge are also good NG games, eventhough deep down I know they are not.
I will lie to people who don't know better and recommend them to play these inferior versions.
I will lie that the shitty guesswork mod of Fiendbusa somehow magically makes Smegma 2 the definitive way to play, eventhough modded Smegma 2 still has missing code, enemy AI and features.
I will lie about the fact that NG3:RE was my first introduction to the franchise and will try to gaslight others into believing that NG3:RE has the best combat and is the most difficult game in the franchise.

I will never ever be a True Ninja Gaiden fan.

Anon her chapters combined take 30 fucking minutes at most if you skip the fiend challanges. The dual swords are fun enough to compensate for every other minor tweak that you don't like. Stop crying like a bitch for a couple fucking extra save statues, the game is basically the same

Her chapters did not need to be shoehorned in where they didn't even exist before. Again it could have simply been her own separate little story you select in the fucking menu. This isn't complicated most other competent devs would have done exactly this. It goes to show Itagaki was right all along. The series has never been great without him.

I like her though I agree that it shouldve been a separate ways type of content, the DLC for 4 shouldve been Ayanes separate ways and new weapons for Ryu and Yakumo but it seems like Ayane has been forgotten and since this is the last NG we will never see her again
