Oh boy! So, people who don't have a gayming PC or Xbox/PS5 can now play the game? Kek

I just can't imagine the Switch 2 being your ONLY gaming console. I just assume most people game on either PC, PS5, or Xbox. I guess some people do only game on a Switch, but that tells me that those people are missing out on a lot of games. A lot of games don't even come to Switch until WAY later, and you're lucky if they even get a port. I mean...did Switch players REALLY want AC: Shadows? I doubt it, but at least they're getting it. I would imagine that thanks to the Switch 2 performance it can actually play games like AC: Shadows now. I still remember them porting Hogwarts Legacy to Switch 1, and it looked so atrocious that I was shocked they even greenlit it. It was the same for Street Fighter 6. There were quite a few games on Switch 1 that shouldn't have even been brought to Switch. They had to cut so many assets, and the system could barely run the games. I'll be interested to see how it looks on Switch 2 compared to PC/console. I would imagine it'll be able to do 60 FPS, but I'm curious if it'll look like the console versions at least or will it have cut assets/visual downgrades.

It's me, my last console was Wii U, I still regularly play 360.

3rd parties seem fully intent to burying Switch2 in slop. Switch2 will die out even more than haters predicted.

Didn't Star Wars only sell like 200 copies on Switch 2, and the game itself along with Shadows were both considered massive financial blunders for Ubisoft?

I have a gaming PC and I will get this game on Switch 2. I'm enjoying Persona 3 at the moment.

If Switch 2 keeps getting 3rd party games at a reasonable rate I'll sell my PC. Simple as.

I do but because there is hardly anything on other consoles that justify their purchases for me.
Assassin's Creed isn't my thing though, but funnily enough there were several Switch 2 game announcements today, like Fallout 4. Amongst what actually interest me, System Shock remake and Wh40k Rogue Trader.

There are tens of millions of people who can only afford one system (especially in current day economy).
For $450 for Switch 2 you can play Nintendo exclusives, the newest 3rd party releases, Xbox games and Sony games.

Nobody really cares how much it sold.
What it shows is that Switch 2 absolutely can run the biggest current gen only games with minimal compromises despite what half of /v/ desperately wanted to push for the past 2 years since the specs have been leaked

I heard apparently that star Wars game from Ubi was actually pretty impressive port wise on Switch 2.

Cope? Not really. If you think the Switch 2 is stronger than your gaming PC, then it makes sense to just play everything on the Switch 2. It must not be a very powerful gaming PC.

You have to contend with the fact that there are A LOT of games that aren't on Switch and probably won't come to Switch. I do think you have a better chance of playing more stuff on PC, PS5, and Xbox. If you don't care about Nintendo exclusives/first party games, then there really is no reason to own a Switch. Persona 3: Reload came out a while ago on everything, but Switch. Switch users just now got access to it, and same thing for AC: Shadows. If all you own is a Switch then yeah, it's good because now you can play those games, but if you had a PC, Xbox, or PS5 then you could have played those when they first came out.
