Firstly, yes. There's nothing special about lines in the sand.
Secondly, there's nothing to do in WW's world. No agriculture, no room for expansion.

Imbecile. Why are you people always such subhuman in your critical thought?

I immediately came up with how to make King of Red Lions come across as the chuddiest chud with his logic, let's see if you can work those anemic brain muscles.

Hyrule technically isn't this Link or Zelda's homeland given how the game plays out.
No one had been there for like 300-500 years.
Their home land is the islands that exist at the mountain peaks.
Which was under threat of destruction by Ganondorf.
So they did infact save their homeland.
Then even rebuilt a new Hyrule years later, to honor where their ancestors came from, and their original history.
It's fine.
It aint that deep anon.

>>724002140
The options were let Hyrule drown or let Ganondorf conquer it again, and Ganondorf conquering Hyrule was the whole reason it was sealed away in the first place. And at that point, Hyrule was a ghost kingdom, ruled by a ghost king. The old had to burn so something new could grow.

>There's nothing special about lines in the sand.
That's true if you ignore several millenia of evolution
No land means no food, which means death. Pair that with an innate instinct to survive and suddenly those pesky lines in the sand mean something

They always leave Hyrule every once in a while. Link's Awakening, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks. It's good to leave Hyrule once in a while.

They didn't treat it like a journey to Labrynna or Holodrum or whatever. They said Hyrule was dead and drowned, shat out one of the worst games in the series in Phantom Hourglass, then went back to Hyrule and pretended none of that happened. It's just funny

See, stories would be so much better if all fictional characters were just perfect logic bots that never make mistakes. I mean, stories would be a lot more boring, but at least my autisms would never be triggered by seeing fictional characters not perfectly minmax their way to resolving the plot before it even begins. And isn't that what really matters?
Anonymous No.724008613 [Report]
>>724008145
I mean, you could write a story without omnipotent entities that act simultaneously as plot holes and conveniences. You're describing their existence within the plot as a necessity, when it's just a result of stupidity and sloth.

The point is, I don't like that plots exist, because they require characters to not be perfect, which triggers my autisms, and avoiding anything that triggers my autisms has become my entire life, so we need to pick apart every plot with endless why-don't-they-justing until storytellers everywhere finally throw up their hands, pack it in and stop writing stories that trigger my autisms.

Have you ever considered Teletubbies? It sounds like the perfect piece of media for you.
There's no plot, so all mistakes made by the characters are purely organic and for the sake of jiggling keys in front of toddlers rather than contrivances to keep the conflict going.

Yeah, but real life is full of mistakes that result in needless conflicts too. You should probably just kill yourself and end your suffering, I hear literally nothing happens in oblivion so there's no mistakes to worry about, just nonexistence with no senses of any sort, including that autism of yours.
